ADL New York/New Jersey Chairman Meets with Armenian Government Officials

WASHINGTON — Krikor Salbashian, chairman of ADL New York New Jersey Chapter met at the Armenian Embassy with Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargisian as part of the premier’s meeting with representatives
of the community.

Salbashian also met privately with Arman Kirakossian, first deputy foreign minister of Armenia, and Minister of Economy Nersess Yeritzyan, during which Salbashian presented his personal business plans to be realized, if the border between Turkey and Armenia were opened. The plan is expected to create up to 25,000 jobs.

On September 25, Salbashian was invited also to the reception given to President Abdullah Gul of Turkey, when
he visited New York to attend the 63rd General Assembly of the United Nations.
