Armenia’s Prime Minister Presents Certificates to TCA Representatives


YEREVAN (Azg)— On Tuesday, January 27, a delegation from the Tekeyan Cultural Association (TCA) was received by Prime Minister Tigran Sargisian at his office. Their meeting lasted one hour.

The delegation comprised Edmond Azadian, vice president of the TCA Central
Board of US and Canada; Papken Megerian, board member; Vartan Ouzounian, president of Tekeyan Trust, London, England and Taline Avakian, president,
TCA Haigashen Ouzounian Literary Award Committee, Geneva, Switzerland.
The delegation was accompanied by Rouben Mirzakhanian, president of TCA
Central Board of Armenia and Hagop Avedikian, editor of Azg daily and founding member of TCA Armenia.

The prime minister welcomed the delegation, sharing his warm impressions of the TCA Award Ceremony held under his auspices a day before at the Tekeyan Center.

On behalf of the delegation Azadian thanked the prime minister and presented
an overview of TCA’s worldwide activities since its inception in 1947 focusing primarily on the TCA of US and Canada projects.

Ouzounian presented the activities of the London Trust whose major achievement was to build the first cultural center in Armenia following its independence.

The prime minister then awarded each and every member of the delegation
with a certificate of appreciation.
