260 Syrian Citizens Receive Armenian Passports

YEREVAN (PanArmenian.net) — The Armenian Parliament resolved on May 29 to allocate 16.9 million drams to the Foreign Ministry for covering the unpaid state duties for provision of passports to Syrian Armenians.

Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharian noted that 260 Syrian citizens received passports without paying the state duties in the first quarter of 2013.
