WATERTOWN — The Board of Directors of the Tekeyan Cultural Association of the United States and Canada, Inc. (TCA) in its regular meeting of January 30, 2015 at the Arshag Dickranian School in Los Angeles, California, decided to establish a representative office in Armenia to implement its cultural and educational programs in Armenia and Karabagh.

Edmond Azadian, TCA vice president, who was visiting Yerevan for the centennial commemoration of the Armenian Genocide, met with local officials and lawyers and after following the necessary official procedures, succeeded in establishing a local legal representation. Gayane Mouradian was selected to be the official representative of the Tekeyan Cultural Association of US and Canada in Armenia.

Gayane Mouradian has been the principal coordinator of the TCA’s Sponsor A Teacher in Armenia and Karabagh program in Armenia since 2000.

The new TCA office in Armenia is located at the recently acquired Tekeyan Center at 20 Yeznik Goghpatsi Street, Yerevan, at the corner of Amirian Street, only a few blocks from Republic Square.
