STEPANAKERT (PanARMENIAN.Net) — Armenian serviceman Karen Paruyr Hovhannisyan was killed Wednesday, August 12, at around 12:30 pm, by an Azerbaijani sniper at an eastern military post of the Nagorno Karabagh (Artsakh) Defense Army.
An investigation is underway to determine the details.
As reported earlier, two unsuccessful attempts to cross into Armenia by Azeri soldiers were thwarted on the night of August 12.
