WATERTOWN — Recently, the Armenian Independent Broadcasting of Boston, the radio hour of the Armenian community, celebrated its 35th anniversary with a banquet at the Armenian Educational and Cultural Center and raised more than $20,000 towards its annual expenses.
The radio hour was founded by the late Jirayr Gharibian and for the last 25 years has been directed by his widow, Yevkine Zarfian Gharibian.
