All-Armenian Collaborative Law Panel to Discuss
Benefits of Alternative Dispute Resolution
January 26, 2012, Woburn, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire: The McLane Law firm in Woburn, Massachusetts, is pleased to host an all-Armenian panel of collaborative law practitioners, to talk to local businessowners and individuals about voluntary dispute resolution.
Disputes affecting businesses, partnerships, employment issues, medical malpractice and probate and estate matters are financially and emotionally disruptive for everyone involved. Litigation often adds to the problems by creating entrenched positions, damaging or severing relationships, and imposing ineffective, unresponsive solutions. Collaborative Law can provide a reasoned, cost-effective approach to resolving civil and business disputes without going to court.
Hutchings Barsamian attorney Michael Zeytoonian and McLane attorneys Jeanmarie Papelian and Charla Stevens will discuss how Collaborative Law, a voluntary dispute resolution process developed by a family lawyer disenchanted with traditional litigation, translates to civil and commercial matters.
Michael Zeytoonian is a partner at Hutchings, Barsamian, Mandelcorn & Zeytoonian, LLP. In addition to serving as past president of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council, he is the Founding Member of the Zeytoonian Center for Dispute Resolution as well as a mediator and ombudsman.
Jeanmarie Papelian is a shareholder and director at the law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, P.A. She practices in the Domestic Relations Practice Group. She is a trained neutral evaluator, collaborative divorce practitioner and marital mediator. Jeanmarie also is the past chair of the Collaborative Law Alliance of New Hampshire.
Charla Bizios Stevens is a shareholder and director at the law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, P.A. She practices in the Employment, Health and School Law practice groups. She is also the NH State Director for the State Council of the Society of Human Resources Management.
The event will be held on February 16, 2012 from 8-9am. Networking and breakfast begin at 7:30 am. The McLane Law Firm, 300 TradeCenter, Suite 6400, Woburn, Massachusetts. To RSVP, contact ellen.boyd@mclane.com
